B-mode, LoSCAN-x, LoSCAN-y and ALSCAN images of a simulated anechoic lesion (top row) and layer (bottom row) phantom. ALSCAN images were computed using various lags. Images correspond to a channel SNR of 0 dB (incoherent noise). Dotted regions were used in all quantitative analyses. Images are displayed with a 60-dB dynamic range.
