Leisure activities were defined as: reading books, magazines, or newspapers; writing (e.g. letters, stories, or journal entries); baking or cooking something special; making clothes, knitting, or embroidery (sewing); working on a hobby or project; going to a sport, social, or other club; and attending meetings of non-religious organizations (political, community, or other interest groups).
