The temperature-associated chloroplast developmental defects of tsl2 mutant are rescued by TSL2/FtsHi5. Wild-type (WT), tsl2 mutant, and genetically complemented transgenic plant (Com-L2) grown under normal growth temperature (22°C) for 4 days were kept at 22°C or transferred to 16 or 29°C for 10 days, and then the ultrastructure of chloroplasts was examined under transmission electron microscopy.
