Effects of low-intensity exercise (Exercise), surface neuromuscular electrical stimulation (NMES) or total rest (Control) on heart rate (panel A), blood lactate (panel B), and muscle oxygen saturation (SmO₂, panel C). No significant interaction effect was found (p = 0.920, p = 0.831, and p = 0.694, respectively).
