Surgery	Prior to surgery and 36 hours postoperatively FVIII:C and VWF:Act>0.80 IU/mL
Major surgery	FVIII:C>0.50 IU/mL during 7–10 days
Minor surgery	FVIII:C>0.50 IU/mL during 3 days and >0.30 IU/mL during 4–7 days
