Altered rat hippocampal mRNA expression of cannabinoid receptors (CB/Cnr) as a result of METH SA followed by contingent footshocks. Quantitative RT-PCR (qRT-PCR) data on the mRNA expression of the cannabinoid receptors, CB1/Cnr1 (a) and CB2/Cnr2 (b). One-way ANOVA analysis of the data revealed significant changes in CB1/Cnr1 expression (p = 0.0001) and CB2/Cnr2 expression (p = 0.0017). Post hoc analyses showed significant increases in both receptor mRNA levels in the SS group compared to the CT, YSS, and SR groups.
