SMC Drebrin attenuates atherosclerosis. The indicated male mice were fed a western diet for 20 weeks, from age 8 weeks: SMC-Dbn−/−/Ldlr−/− mice, and ‘control’ mice [SM22-Cre+/Ldlr−/− (green), Dbnflox/flox/Ldlr−/− (blue), and Dbn+/+/Ldlr−/− (black)]. All control groups yielded congruent data; therefore, data from these groups were pooled.
