Stereo disambiguation of a trapezoidal prism. When viewed in stereo, this rotating trapezoidal prism reverses its direction from time to time, like the spinning ballerina. Sometimes the large square face looks nearer as it rotates in one direction. Sometimes the smaller face looks nearer and it seems to rotate in the opposite direction. Panels (A) and (C) are identical, while panel (B) contains disparity. Please see Supplementary Video 5 for an animation.
