Redox state of flies supplemented with PTS and exposed to ethanol. Flies were supplemented with 100 μM PTS for 15 days, then were exposed to 17.5% ethanol (EtOH) for 4 h. A. ROS production was measured with the peroxide-sensitive probe DCFH-DA B. Total radical scavenging capacity was evaluated by ABTS assay. Each value represents mean ± SD.
