The survival rate of H. pylori G27 after incubation with ARM1 or MTZ for 30 min at pH 2.5. ARM1 or MTZ at various concentrations was incubated with H. pylori G27 in BHI broth (pH2.5) in the presence of fresh urea (10 mM) and 10% FBS. The bacterial count was determined by counting colony‐forming units (cfu) of live bacteria with agar plating. The data are represented as average ± SD of three independent experiments and analysed by Student's t‐test. **P < 0.01, ***P < 0.001. ‘ns’ represents no significant difference (P > 0.05).
