The log decrease is a log2(ALAi − PDTi), where ALAi is a cytokine fluorescence intensity in the control group with ALA alone and PDTi is a cytokine fluorescence intensity in the PDT group with ALA plus light. The higher log decrease value, the lower level of a cytokine.
