Induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC)-derived monocytes and macrophages (MΦ). iPSC-derived monocytes were tested for the expression of monocyte markers, such as CD14, CD11b (A), and CD45 (B). iPSC derived monocytes were differentiated into macrophages in X-VIVO15 medium supplemented with M-CSF (100 ng/mL) for 7 days. Gating strategy for iPSC derived-MΦ (iPSDM) is shown (C,D). iPSDM were stained for the macrophage marker CD68 (E) and tested for their phagocytic activity using fluorescein conjugated Zymosan particles (F).
