On plain T1-weighted image (B), the tumor (arrow) shows central hyperintensity and peripheral hypointensity, with only a slight ring enhancement in the arterial phase (C). The tumor (arrow) remains centrally hypointense in the portal venous (D) and delayed phases (E) with irregular nodular peripheral enhancement.
