FTIR spectra of neat chitosan (CS) and CS/AuNPs composites with HAuCl₄/SC (M/M, molar ratio) relationships of 0.1, 0.21, 1, 2, and 5. Note the spectral region of ca. 3200 to 3500 cm⁻¹ reveals a subtle widening of the vibration bands that are traceable to H-bonding.
