Schematic describing INO80-mediated regulation of poised chromatin in developing spermatocytes. INO80 regulates transcription during spermatogenesis by turning somatic genes to a poised state by facilitating binding of SUZ12, which activates PRC2 localization, leading to the introduction of repressive H3K27me3 modifications. INO80 deletion leads to de-repression of these genes, leading to a mis-regulated transcriptome. Created with BioRender.com.
