The three curves refer to cryoballon ablation, radiofrequency ablation, and medical therapy. Recurrence of atrial fibrillation or of another atrial arrhythmia is the time-to-event end-point. The clinical material for this analysis is reported in Table 1 (see text for further details). Identification of the curves: in green, cryoballon ablation (three trials, n = 365); in blue, radiofrequency ablation (two trials, n = 99); in red, medical therapy (five trials, n = 457). n is the number of patients.
