The sera described in Fig. 1 were analysed for IgG antibodies specific for tetanus toxoid using a Luminex™ to determine total IgG MFI. Lower levels of antibodies against tetanus toxoid in the PM group is likely reflective of this small group having neglected immunisation booster shots and were not statistically different from the other infection groups. The data are presented for each patient with the median for the group. *p < 0.05, Wilcoxon rank-sum tests with adaptive Hochberg multiplicity adjustment.
