PT150 treatment decreases expression of the ACE2 receptor in lung. In Syrian golden hamsters infected with SARS-CoV-2, there was a modest decrease in expression of the ACE2 in bronchiolar epithelial cells at day 7 post-infection in animals given PT150 at 100 mg/Kg/day.
