Voluntary exercise prevented hypertensive response sensitization to angiotensin (ANG) II treatment although the locomotor activities of the rats were elevated. HRs were comparable in all groups of offspring. Daily and averaged mean arterial pressure (MAP, A,B), heart rate (HR, C,D) and locomotor activity (E,F) in sedentary (Blocked) or exercise (Running) rats during the Induction-Delay-Expression (I-D-E) paradigm.
