Table 2. Small blood vessel scores using MMSE-2 scoring in the entire cohort.

Statistical tests showed that the data all conformed to the normal distribution with or without cognitive impairment, and then the homogeneity of variance was further tested. ANOVA analysis was used to conclude that the total CMBs score, total lacunes score, lobar CMBs score, total SVD burden score and total SVD burden score ≥3 was heterogeneity of variance, therefore, Welch’s adjusted unpaired t-test was selected. For others, an unpaired t-test was selected.
