Effect of fraction “K” and PXT on immobility time of mice in the FST. Mean immobility time (± SD) in FST following a single i.p. dose of fraction “K” (0–25 mg/kg) or PXT (10 mg/kg) differed from both 1.0 mg/kg fraction “K” treatment and control (One-way ANOVA, p < 0.0001). Different letters indicate significant differences (Tukey’s HSD, p < 0.0001 all treatments except 25 mg/kg fraction “K” vs. PXT [p = 0.0021]).
