a) The modified NITI model was used to fit ex vivo corneal dispersion data pressurized at 5, 10, 15, and 20 mmHg. The in-plane modulus μ was set at 1.0 MPa while the tensile prestress σθ was approximated via Eq. (40). b) The resulting dispersion curves are shown as linear wavenumber vs. frequency plots. c) The corresponding phase velocity curves are shown on the right.
