Effect of peptide Ac2-26 on methacholine-induced changes in airway resistance and lung elastance in HDM-challenged mice. Airway hyperreactivity was measured as resistance (A) and elastance (B) induced by provocation with increasing concentrations of methacholine in HDM-challenged mice and treated with peptide Ac2-26 (200 µg/mouse, i.n.). Animals instilled with saline were used as controls. The analyses were performed 24 h after the last HDM or saline challenge.
