Percolation correction as a function of the combined adherence to interventions (WNPI). We plot the resultant curve for different values of hsteep, which is the steepness of the hyperbolic tangent in the definition of fperc (Eq. (2)). For low WNPI, fperc0, meaning no connectivity is lost at low levels of adherence. Near WNPI=Tperc, fperc increases rapidly. Under the high WNPI regime, where more connections are lost, fpercheff1. Here we used Tperc=0.6 for the percolation threshold, which is indicated as the curve’s inflexion point. Note that changing the Tperc value simply translates the curve along the x-axis.
