After refeeding, calorie restriction (CR) increases pregnancy rate in female mice. Pregnancy rate (A), litter size (B), pup birth weight (C) from female control (CTL) mice and those treated with 17α-E2 for 24 weeks or CR regimens (10% or 30%) for 18 weeks starting at 12 weeks of age and then refed for 10 days before mating.
