Table 2 shows the distribution of types of colorectal surgery in RCTs in our meta-analysis. Right hemicolectomy, ileocolic/sigmoid resection (non-specified), and anterior resection are the three main types of surgery that were used together in 62.8 and 64.8% of patients in the TAP block and control groups, respectively.
