Serum levels of creatinine and urea, and the urine protein to creatinine ratio are depicted for female (upper panels) and male mice (lower panels) of indicated genotypes. Note that the axis for the urine protein to creatinine ratio is higher in the male mice which develop significant proteinuria in contrast to the female littermates. Statistical analysis was performed using one-way ANOVA analysis (*p < 0.05, **p < 0.01, ***p < 0.001).
