MALDI MS pictures of two technical replicates with N-glycans released from a HCT116 CRC cell line protein extract. None of the identified signals subjected to MS/MS fragmentation was compatible with the presence of a fucose residue, neither distal, medial nor core fucose. HCT116 is considered as a negative control for fucosylation. Selected structures are illustrated accordingly the SNFG notation: Inline graphic Gal (Galactose); Inline graphic Man (Mannose); Inline graphic Fuc (Fucose); Inline graphic GlcNAc (N-Acetylglucosamine); □ HexNAc (N-Acetylhexosamine); Inline graphic Neu5Ac (N-Acetylneuraminic acid).
