Unadjusted p-values were calculated using Wilcoxon rank-sum test (continuous variables) or Fisher exact test (categorical variables). Adjusted p-values were calculated using linear and logistic regression models (for continuous and categorical variables, respectively), including ancestry, age, sex, systolic BP, height and weight as covariates.
