(a) Schematic diagram of the exploratory experiment: the experiment was divided into three stages. The first stage compared the thrombus induction efficiency of 30, 40, 50, and 60% ferric chloride-soaked filter wrapped around the right carotid artery for 10 and 20 min. The second stage compared the efficiency of thrombus induction when 50% ferric chloride was exposed to the right carotid artery for 3, 5, 8, and 10 min. The third stage investigated the thrombolytic effect of rt-PA injected at 1.5 and 3 h after the induction of thrombosis for different exposure times.
