Upon the addition of acid, the electrode was polished between scans except for the 1 equiv BA scan. (B) LSV (solid line) and the calculated current trace (dashed line) using eq 1. LSV traces were corrected for the capacitive current at −1.0 V vs Fc⁺/Fc. All CVs were recorded with a glassy carbon button (3 mm diameter) working electrode, a Pt auxiliary electrode, and a Ag wire reference electrode at a scan rate of ν = 100 mV s^–1.
