We show the cumulative excess fatal drug poisonings per 100,000 population (95% CI) for each race and ethnicity and type of death for January 5, 2020 to December 26, 2020. Excess deaths are defined as the difference between observed deaths and the expected number of deaths (and can therefore be negative).
