(a) Hh blocks the production of Ci^R/Gli^R by inhibiting PKA/GSK3/CK1-mediated phosphorylation of Ci/Gli on Slimb/β-TRCP degrons while converts accumulated Ci^F/Gli^F into Ci^A/Gli^A through Fu/Ulk3/CK1-mediated phosphorylation of Ci/Gli on conserved sites. (b) Phosphorylation of Ci by Fu on S218 and S1230 primes its further phosphorylation by CK1 on adjacent residues
