Schematic illustration of the fabrication of a strain sensor composed of laser scribed rGO and PDMS. The process includes synthesis of GO, adhesion with PDMS, laser patterning (reduction) of rGO/PDMS stack, lead-out, and sandwiching the structure in PDMS. (Chemical structures were drawn using Chem Draw by PerkinElmers Informatics and Images were drawn using Adobe Illustrator and Microsoft PowerPoint drawing tools and assembling was done using Microsoft PowerPoint while some images were taken from online image gallery^27–29).
