DNA PK phosphorylates HPV-18 E6 in vivo in the absence of E6AP. (A) HeLa cells were transfected with siRNAs against E6AP, E6/E7, and luciferase as the control. After 60 h, DNA PK inhibitor (10 μM) and DMSO as control were added to the cells, which were incubated for a further 12 h. Cells extracts were then analyzed by Western blotting using antibodies for total E6 and pE6; α-tubulin was used as a loading control.
