GWEIS identification of rs12777434 interaction with ACEs. This figure shows the interactive effect of variant rs12777434 in CAMK1D. Homozygotes in the reference allele show a substantial increase in BMI for each number of ACEs encountered (0.24 kg/m ² ). However, with each copy of the minor allele, participants show much greater changes: 0.48 kg/m ² and 0.57 kg/m ² , respectively. Differences in BMI between the three genotypes are shown to be statistically significant at ACEs N = 0, 5, 9 at significance level α = 0.05, and at N = 6 and 7 ACEs at significance level α = 0.10, using simple one-way ANOVA analysis.
