Spermine suppresses NLRP3 inflammasome activation under HG/ox-LDL condition. PCR was used to detect NLRP3 and IL-1β mRNA levels in macrophages. ELISA was used to detect IL-1β levels in cell supernatant. Western blotting was used to detect the levels of NLRP3, caspase-1, cleaved-caspase-1, IL-1β and N-GSDMD in lysate.
