In (b), we plot ${\mathrm{CV}}_{\mathrm{Data}}\left(t\right)$ the cumulative number of second vaccine doses for New York City (red curve), and $N-{\mathrm{CV}}_{\mathrm{Data}}\left(t\right)$ the number of unvaccinated individuals for New York City (blue curve). The two curves in (b) cross when the number of vaccinated people reaches $50\%$.
