(B) Focused shock wave is characterized by a single positive pressure wave (100 MPa), followed by a negative pressure wave (−10 MPa). The 1 microsecond (μs) of time interval is the positive pressure wave. (C) The pressure wave is 1 MPa positive wave and less than 1 MPa negative wave in 5 milliseconds (ms).
