The curves represent treated and untreated mice and include 58 and 52 mice, respectively. The survival rate at specific time points was estimated with the Kaplan-Meier method. Comparisons between the whole survival curves were made by using the log-rank statistic, and a P value of <0.005 was reached at 3.5 days.
