GGPPS1 knockout ameliorated VILI in mice via inhibition of autophagy. C57BL/6 mice with lung-specific GGPPS1 knockout (GGPPS1−/−) and wild-type (WT) mice were subjected to mechanical ventilation (VT) or not.
