Table 5.

Results of the fingertip-to-floor test (cm) of the four groups (target BE programme and three other programmes: yoga, Pilates and dynamic interval training) before and after the training period. The students participated voluntarily in and were randomly assigned to training programmes. The duration of each training session was one hour, twice a week for 7 weeks.

Q1 is the “middle” value in the first half of the rank-ordered data set (25%) and Q3 is the “middle” value in the second half of the rank-ordered data set (75%)). Decreased rates reflect improvement.
