FD-compounds inhibited infection of enveloped viruses with class II and III viral fusion protein, but not nonenveloped viruses. (A) FD001 and FD012 inhibited authentic ZIKV PRVABC59 (2015/Puerto Rico) infection in Vero E6 cells; (B) FD001 and FD012 inhibited VSV PsV infection in Huh-7 cells; (C) FD001 and FD012 could not inhibit infection of the nonenveloped HPV PsV in Hela cells and authentic EV71 in RD cells. Data are means ± SD of triplicate samples from a representative experiment.
