Lipopolysaccharide-EK (LPS-EK) induces inflammation in macrophages. RAW cells were incubated with LPS-EK for 6 h. Gene expression of (A) IL-6, (B) IL-1β, (C) TNF-α, (D) MIP-2, and (E) NLRP3 was quantified by quantitative real-time PCR and normalized to that of the housekeeping gene ß-actin.
