Effect of macrophage-derived EVs on smooth muscle cell viability. MOVAS-1 cells were incubated for 24 h with EVs secreted by either treated (1 µg/ml LPS-EK; EV-LPS) or untreated macrophages (EV-CT) or without (CT). Cell viability was measured using the WST-1 assay. The viability of cells incubated without EVs (CT) was defined as 100%.
