Arterial and intracardiac hemodynamic assessments were conducted at endpoint after treatment with 0.1 mg/kg VTD QOD for 30 days. AE Carotid arterial blood pressure at the 4-week endpoint revealed a significant but mild decrease in arterial mean blood pressure (Panel A) with VTD treatment. This was due to a reduction in arterial systolic (Panel B) but not diastolic (Panel C) blood pressure. Arterial heart rate was unaffected (Panel D). Results are expressed as mean ± SEM (N = 4–8 per group, *P < 0.05). EH Intracardiac pressure-volume loop (PV loop) analysis at the 4-week endpoint revealed no significant difference for heart rate (Panel E), mean pressure (Panel F), contractility (Panel G), or relaxation (Panel H).
