Angulated Salter osteotomy. (a) The first osteotomy line is raised 30° or more proximal to the straight osteotomy line of the Salter osteotomy. The apex of the osteotomy is set at a depth of approximately one-third of the ilium. (b) Angular osteotomy creates a 2-point contact (arrows) between the proximal and distal fragments.
