ECG criteria for the diagnosis of ST-elevation myocardial infarction

ST elevation is measured at the J-point and should be present in at least two contiguous leads. Assess right-sided leads (V₃R and V₄R) in inferior myocardial infarction and assess posterior leads (V₇-V₉) in suspected posterior myocardial infarction (ST depressions in V₁-V₃).
