(a). Uridine treatment reduced the expression of IL-6 and IL-1β. The senescent GES-1 and RGM-1 cells were pre-treated with uridine (0.4 mg) for 24 h. The level of proinflammatory cytokines were analyzed by ELISA kit (Thermo, 88–50,625 for IL-6; Thermo, 88–7340 for TNFα and Thermo, 88–6010 for IL-1β) according to the manufacturer’s instructions.
