NCAPG knockdown suppressed the growth of subcutaneous transplanted tumors in nude mice. (a-c) A549 cells were transfected with short hairpin RNA (shRNA) targeting NCAPG (shNCAPG) and control shRNA (shCTRL). After 72 h, cells were injected subcutaneously into the nude mice for 25 days. The volume and mass of xenografts were measured in (a) and (c). The image of xenografts was shown in (b). ***, p < 0.001. (d-e) the NCAPG and Ki-67 staining through IHC were shown in (d) and (e). After the experiment finished, Total RNA of the xenografts was extracted for RT-PCR experiments. **, p < 0.01.
